Omurice- Japanese Omelet Rice

I cooked OMURICE for my lunch!
Omurice is a Japanese style food which is an omelet containing stir-fried rice with tomato catsup as a filling.
oh yeah! Isn't it sounds very delicious? It is delicious!




*Ingredients*  4 servings

1 tbsp butter
4 oz (=115g) Chopped Chicken 
1/2 Chopped Onion 
1/2~2/3 cup Mix vegetables
1 lb (=445g) Cooked Rice 
1/2 minced garlic
2 tsp salt 
pepper to taste
tbsp tomato catsup
1 tbsp Parmesan



8 tbsp milk
4 egg
salt, pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter


*Directions*
1,Put oil in a large skillet, Cook chicken and onion till cooked.
2,Add and fry mix-vegetables,rice and rest of the filling ingredients. then, set aside.
3,Beat omelet ingredients.
4,Melt butter in a large skillet, try cook 1/4 egg mixture as like a crape. carefully spoon 1/4 rice filling over one half of the omelet, flip the omelet over to cover the rice filling!
5,pour tomato catsup on Omurice.






I know this is the kid's favorite menu. and my  favorite, too!
It might be not easy to cover at the first, but take your time to practice.even if it doesn't look right, still taste good. Don't worry.


I prefer serving with salad and soup. Perfect Lunch!!!!
